                                                            Assessing and Reporting Student Performance

                                                            SuccessMaker courses offer a variety of tools to support the ongoing assessment of reading, writing, science, maths and thinking skills.

                                                            With the management system, educators have immediate access to the performance information they need for parent conferences, special reports and instructional decisions.

                                                            No longer do teachers, senior management and parents have to wait until separate testing sessions are held to see how students are progressing.  At any time they can run reports and view student portfolios.

                                                            "In terms of progress on the system, students, on average, made gains consistent with, or in excess of, claims for the system, namely one month for every hour of instruction time. For example, for third form the average gain (in year levels) in maths was 0.111 and in reading 0.313 for every hour on system. The progress made on the system (class gains ranged from 0.93 to 1.43 year levels) could be seen as accelerated."
