Discover English Approx. RA: 5 - 11
This course is designed for primary pupils to learn English as a second language.  It teaches English skills in a meaningful context built around themes such as health, community, food and transportation.  70 hours of courseware focusing on listening and speaking experiences and reading and writing experiences. Four enrolment options allow the classroom teacher to easily customise instruction for ESOL, transitioning bilingual or literacy/ language development.  Students can use Discover English on their own, in pairs or in small groups.  As in most SuccessMaker courses there is a classroom activity guide with helpful lesson suggestions for using short video lessons and follow up activity masters.  The Activity Guide is the perfect classroom accompaniment for Discover English.
