SuccessMaker Reading blends research-based techniques to help schools meet the growing pressure to deliver reading results. Reading passages were written and reviewed using the Lexile Framework, which matches reader ability and text difficulty in a scientific approach supported by 20 years of continuing research.
Reading, writing and spelling are closely integrated throughout all the reading courses and students are supported by the scaffolded instructional model. As students work they receive immediate audio and visual corrective feedback.
The Teacher's Activity Guides offer ways to extend the reading experience with whole-class, cooperative, cross-curricular, group and individual activities. Lesson plans are also provided.
