The course is individualised to each student, so students spend time studying only the words they don't know. Spelling Skills introduces rules and patterns and words are arranged in over 60 groups such as homophones, words ending in double consonants, and adjectives with suffixes. Individualised tutorial hints support the student as he or she works through the activities.

Functional Age: 5 - 6+
This is an age appropriate drawing and writing tool. It motivates young learners to write and illustrate their writing (or vice-versa) by providing intuitive icons and tools that little fingers can easily use. Simple clicks, drags and drops fill the paint area with appropriate backgrounds and delightful animated characters. It is seamlessly integrated into Reading Adventures Primary to help emerging writers make the connections to reading. Text to speech in children’s voices, sound effects, word-bank from RAP, numerals and maths symbols to support maths.

It contains hundreds of writing and publishing ideas with assessment checklists and rubrics for both teachers and students. Writer’s Studio provides unique tools and resources that students need for choosing a topic, researching, producing drafts, revising, proofreading and publishing their work – in an interactive multimedia environment that makes writing rewarding and enjoyable.
